Jagityal: CM Revanth Reddy’s discrimination and suppression on Congress cadre caused me to quit the party, said former Minister T. Jeevan Reddy. He convened a public meeting on Wednesday at Bandari Gardens in Jagityal and announced his resignation to Congress party along with his followers and supporters.
Speaking on the occasion Jeevan Reddy said that CM Revanth Reddy wants to suppress me and my cadre in Jagityal constituency with a conspiracy to eliminate me and my cadre from Congress party. He encouraged the defection politics by admitting the BRS MLA Dr. Sanjay Kumar into the Congress fold.
I opposed this decision and I conveyed my suggestion to the party high command, but they assured me no harm will occur to you and your cadre. In the past 20 months my cadre suffered a lot by the opponents, who is having Revanth’s support. Recently Revanth said that I reached this position by kicking each person head that stood in my path.
Jeevan Reddy said that he will fight against Revanth will of power from today onwards until his defeat and his proud. Jagityal district Women Chairperson Vijayalaxmi, several MPTCs and ZPTCs and other Congress party cadre resigned to their primary membership in solidarity with Jeevan Reddy. Jeevan Reddy questioned that who is Vem Narender Reddy to nominate for Rajya Sabha instead of Congress senior leaders like Chinna Reddy, Madhuyashki Goud and V Hanumanth Rao.
