Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad City police on Saturday arrested Bollywood Actress Payal Rohatgi on the allegations of threatening the residents of her colony. The housing society chairman Parag Shah filed a complaint in satellite police station against her on Thursday.

The police registered FIR against her on the basis of the colony chairman’s complaint said Inspector AS Roy. The actress is living with her parents in a posh society in Ahmedabad’s Satellite area since one year, said police. The police booked a case against her under the sections 294-b, 504 and 506 of IPC.

The police in FIR said Payal Rohatgi allegedly abused society members during the meeting and posted an abusive message on the society’s Whatsapp group. The police investigation is going on.
