Tollywood character actor Jayprakash Reddy passes away

Hyderabad: Tollywood character actor, villain cum comedian Jayprakash Reddy passes away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning at his residence in Guntur. He entered into film industry in 1988 through “Bhramaputrudu” movie.

He got fame with the movies i.e. Preminhukundam Raa, Samarashima Reddy, Jayam Manade Raa, Chennakeshava Reddy, Sitaiah, Chatrapati, Gabbar Singh, Nayak, Race Gurram, Manam, Temper etc,.  He was very famous in the industry through his dialogue delivery mannerism in the accent of Rayalaseema. His last movie is sarileru neekevvaru.

Jaya Prakash Reddy was born on 10 October 1946, in Sirivella, of Kurnool district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He came into the limelight with the feature film Samarashima Reddy where he played the role of Veera Raghava Reddy. Fondly called JP, he acted as the villain in the hit film Jayam Manade Raa and Chennakeshava Reddy. Apart from villain roles, JP also acted in several comedy films. He had a role in the 2018 film MLA.
