Hyderabad: Telangana government has allowed post production works of movies to resume with minimum staff, provided they follow the lockdown SOP guidelines. Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav held a meeting with the cine industry big wigs on the resume of cine industry in the state.

Telangana cinematography minister announced after the meeting, with leading film personality to chart away forward for the Telugu film industry as a lockdown restrictions beings to ease nationwide. We are concerned about the cinema workers who have been affected by this crisis and we’re positive that film shoots will resume in the state soon.

He also said that CM KCR will review the situation post lockdown and will take a decision soon. He held a meeting at a residence of Chiranjeevi, post production works of both films and television serials can resume from Friday, he said. It was decided that directors SS Rajamouli and Koratala will hold mock shoots both indoors and outdoors and present the videos to the government.

The idea is to show the government that shooting can take place with lesser people and without violating social distancing norms. We are confident that something positive will come out of this, shares Ram Mohan Rao chairman of Telangana State Film Development Corporation.
