Veteran Tollywood Actor Kaikala’s last rites accorded with State of Honour

Hyderabad: Veteran Tollywood Actor Kaikala Satyanarayana’s (87) last rites will held at Maha Prasthanam in Jubilee Hills at 10.30 am in Hyderabad on Saturday with State of Honour.

Veteran Actor Kaikala Satyanarayana (87) passed away on Friday morning in his residence at Hyderabad. He survived with wife Nageshwari, two sons and two daughters. He acted nearly 777 movies in Tollywood in multiple shades as Hero, Villain, Comedian and Character Artist in social, mythological and historical movies. He was famously known as “Yama Dharma Raju”.

He played the role of Yama Dharma Raju in Yamagola movie in 1976. Yamaleela, yamudiki Mogudu and he acted as Gatochkachudu in the movie Gatochkachudu. He played as Duryodhana, Dussasana, Ravana, Bheema etc,. Mythological characters.

He hailed from Kauthavaram village in Gudlavalleru mandal in Krishna District in July 25th, 1935. He completed his education in Kauthavaram, Gudlavaelleru and in Gudivada. He debuted in films in 1958 as a Hero in the “Sippai Kuturu”. He started his career as Villain in 1962 under the Direction of B.Vithalacharya in “Aggi Pidugu”.

Later he continued in Villain characters nearly one decade, later he turned as Comedian and Character artist etc. He acted in Maharshi film in 2019, it is last acted movie.

Kaikala Satyanarayana entered in politics with the inspiration and influence of the TDP Founder Late NTR in 1998 and he elected as MP in Machilipatnam Constituency with TDP.
