Chandigarh: A 25 year-old woman was allegedly gang raped and brutally beaten up by four men in Gurgaon, police said the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, that the woman having severe injuries on her head.

According to the ACP, the accused beat up the woman when she resisted their attempts. Her head was smashed against a wall. “She suffered a deep cut on her head and was hospitalized in Gurgaon,” said police officials.

The accused fled the spot after committing the crime. On hearing the woman’s cries, a security guard of the complex alerted the police who reached the spot and took her to the hospital, said officials.
