Washington: Amazon, online retail giant has removed shirts from its platform that featured derogatory references to Kamala Harris, the Democratic Vice-Presidential nominee.

Amazon spokesperson speaking to the reporters “We are working to remove these products”. All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action including potential removal of their account.

As per the report, Harris has incurred some personal attacks ever since Joe Biden selected her as his running mate. Last week, Biden picked Harris as his running mate, with the latter being the first African-American and Indian-American woman to be nominated on a major party ticket. The presidential election in the US is scheduled to be held on November 3.
