Pro-tem Speaker Will Administer the Oath of Newly Elected MLAs

Amaravathi: Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly pro-tem speaker Sambangi Chinna Appala Naidu is going to administer the oath of newly elected MLAs on Tuesday. The leader of the house YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will took the oath as member of assembly first. Later the opposition leader N. Chandra Babu will take the oath. Later the members will take the oath in alphabetical manner.

    The AP Assembly will assemble at 11:05am on 12th June. The Assembly schedule will run five days. The pro-tem speaker will conduct speaker election on 13th June. The AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy decided Thammineni Sitaram as the new speaker of AP Assembly.

     Thammineni Sitaram will file his nomination on June 13th. The members of the assembly will convey wishes to the newly elected speaker and to invite him to assume the speaker chair. The governor ESL Narasimhan will address in the Joint Session of assembly on June 14th. On June 15th the assembly will conclude followed with vote of thanks to the governor’s speech in the joint session.
