AP Government gave more importance to the security and safety to women, childrens and senior citizens: Jagan

Vijayawada: The AP Government gave more importance for the safety and security of women, senior citizens, childrens and other down trodden people, said AP CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He instructed the police to take stringent action against those who commit crimes on women, senior citizens, childrens etc, said CM. AP CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy paid tributes to the police, on the Police Commemoration Day on Wednesday at Indira Gandhi Stadium Vijayawada. He paid tributes to the police who laid their lives for the society in their duty. He also thanked the families of the lives sacrificed police personnels families and also assured he will take all measures to support them by providing one job to each family of the deceased.

He also announced Rs. 50 lakhs exgratia to the police who lost their lives due to Covid- 19. CM Y.S. Jagan also announced the recruitment of 6, 500 police personnels for every year in the forth coming four years. His Government brought Disha Act for the safety women in the state and also established 27 Disha police stations in the state and special Disha Courts and also appointed Government Lawyers. He also directed the DGP to put an iron leg on those who are trying to disturb the communal harmony, and also commit crimes on the public as well as the assets.

The police will initiate actions against the people who commits crimes whatever their social, political or any other statues in the society.

AP CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy received Guard of Honour at Indira Gandhi Stadium on the occasion of Police Commemoration Day. He released a book “They are Immortal”. The State Home Minister Sucharita, Chief Secretary Neelam Sahani and DGP Gautam Sawang participated.
