Auto and ACs Showrooms Will Open From Today: KCR

Hyderabad: The Telangana government allowed opening showrooms of selling ACs, Automobile shops and its spare parts shops from Saturday (16.05.2020), after 55 days of lockdown imposed. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandra Sekhar Rao held a review meeting with officials to review lockdown implementations on Friday, Covid-19 cases, especially in greater Hyderabad and various other measures being taken to prevent too spread of the virus.

Speaking to the media persons KCR said that while the government is examining various other relaxations, including bus transport services in green and orange zones. It has decided to wait for a few days as a centre’s lockdown is ending on May 17 and fresh guidelines are expected from the centre. The CM also said that no one knows when the deadly Covid-19 will be wiped out; we have adopted a strategy to live with it. He said that present lockdown rules will be continuing till further order.

The CM said in Hyderabad, except in four zones i.e., LB Nagar, Malakpet, Charminar and Karwan where 1,442 families are under quarantine, the city does not have active positive cases.
