New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has donated ₹ 2 crore to Rakab Ganj Gurdwara in Delhi, for providing the Covid – 19 care facility. The facility at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara opens on Monday and will have oxygen concentrators, doctors, paramedics and ambulances.

All the services will be provided to patients free-of-cost. The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee president Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that hospital is having 300 bedded facilities.

Akali Dal party National Spokesperson Sirsa said that, the Bollywood Actor Amitabh Bachchan said Sikhs are legendary and  Salute to their service, he said these were the words at the time of contributing ₹ 2 crore to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid – 19 Care Facility.

He also said that Amitabh Bachchan also made sure that oxygen concentrators from abroad reached the Covid care centre. While Delhi was grappling for Oxygen, Amitabh Ji called me almost daily to enquire about the progress of this facility, he added.
