Chandra Babu and 12 TDP MLAs suspended from House on Monday

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Monday suspended the opposition leader N. Chandra Babu Naidu and 12 other TDP MLAs from the House. The opposition leader N. Chandra Babu Naidu squatted in the Well of the House in protest after his demand to speak out of term was turned down.

The resulting pandemonium leads the Assembly to adopt a resolution, condemning Naidu’s unruly behaviour. Later, the TDP Chief and 12 MLAs were suspended from the House per the day. After leaving the House, the TDP leaders held the protest outside the Assembly, raising the slogans against the Government.

At this point, I & PR Minister Perni Nani moved a resolution, seeking suspension of TDP members, including Chandra Babu from the House, which was accepted by the Speaker.
