Cyberabad police busted a plot to poach TRS MLAs: four arrested

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police on Wednesday busted a plot of poaching the TRS MLAs by influencing with money and posts etc. According to the Cyberabad police Stephen Ravindra, the police arrested four persons and seized Rs. Fifteen crores of cash from a farm house in Moinabad.

The police raided on the farm house on tip off the TRS MLAs about the plot at Moinabad. The deals could be to the tune of Rs 100 crore or more. Stephen Ravindra speaking to the media persons said that the four TRS MLAs are G Balaraju, B Harshavardhan Reddy, R Kantha Rao and Rohith Reddy were allegedly being offered cash, posts and other incentives to switch loyalties.

Police said the detained persons have identified themselves as Satish Sharma, a priest from Haryana, D Simhayaji, a priest from Tirupathi, his devotee Rohith Reddy, and a businessman, Nandakumar.

Both TRS and BJP are alleging this incident in the wake of Munugode by elections. TRS alleged that BJP is trying to buy our MLAs with money and posts and contracts etc, but they never fall for BJP’s trap.

BJP State President Bandi Sanjay condemned the allegations of TRS and he said that it is a petty drama of TRS Chief KCR and his KTR. The alleged farm house belongs to a TRS MLA and their meeting with other MLAs in their farm house with Swamiji’s. BJP has no links with Swamijis or with the farm house.
