Hyderabad: Telangana former Medical & Health Minister Eatala Rajender announced his resignation as an MLA and also quitting the TRS party.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao dismissed Etela Rajender from his cabinet a month ago on the allegations of assignment land acquisition. He is going to submit his resignation letter to the State Legislative Assembly Speaker within a short period.

Speaking to the media persons on Friday, the former Minister Etela Rajender said that TRS won in several elections in Karimnagar district because of his efforts.

He won Huzurabad Assembly segment with a huge majority because of the support of the people and not because of the TRS B-form. Even CM’s daughter K Kavitha, who contested in Nizamabad Lok Sabha with TRS B-form, was defeated, Rajender recalled.

Rajender made allegations on the TRS Government for suppressing RTC strike last year. KCR backed on money power and conspiracies in winning the recent MLC elections Graduates’ seats, Rajender alleged.

Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao, nephew of KCR, also faced humiliations in the party, he said. Etela Rajender is all set to join in BJP within four or five days in the presence of BJP National President JP Nadda. He held negotiations since last three days with the State and Central BJP leaders for his political future in the State.
