Hyderabad: A major fire accident occurred at Vindhya Organics a chemical factory on Saturday afternoon with a huge sound blow and smoke fumes, nearly eight workers who are on the spot received injuries and shifted them to the nearby hospital.

Three injured workers are facing critical injuries and one worker shifted Yashoda Hospital for better treatment. The factory located at Bollaram industrial area of Hyderabad. There are nearly 40 workers at the time of fire accident. According to the eye witnesses, two boilers explode with a huge sound and fire scattered in the factory. Almost all the factory building was burnt, said the police.

Nearly 200 police personnel along with one SI and DSP observing the situation and fire officials are trying to control the fire with three fire tenders from Kukatpally, Patancheru, and Miyapur were rushed to the spot. The fire department officials said that they had received a fire distress call at around 1:30 pm.
