Huzurabad: Former Medical & Health Minister of Telangana Etela Rajender on Friday fell sick on his Praja Deevena Pada Yatra at Kondapaka in Huzurabad constituency. He was shifted to special bus for medical examinations.

Doctors found that he is suffering from high fever, his BP levels dropped to 90/ 60 and sugar level fell down to 265 and the oxygen levels also decreased to 94, said the doctors. The doctors also done Covid – 19 rapid test, and test resulted Covid – 19 negative. The doctors advised to Etela to shift him to NIIMS hospital for better treatment, but he rejected.

Doctors continued treatment to him in the special bus and shifted him to his camp office at Huzurabad at 7.30 pm. He started his Praja Deevena Pada Yatra on July 19^th at Kamalapur and he travelled 222 Kms since then.

As part of his Pada Yatra he reached Kondapaka in Venavanka Mandal and he participated in a meeting. After the meeting he fell sick. Later spouse of Etela Rajender Jamuna Reddy continued the Pada Yatra from Kondapaka to Himmathnagar on behalf of him, after he fell sick. BJP State President Bandi Sanjay and National Vice – President DK Aruna consoled Etela over phone.
