Fire Accident Broken in Srisailam Left Bank Power House: Nine Employees Struck in the Tunnel

Nagar Kurnool: Sudden Fire accident broken in Srisailam left bank power house in the Telangana GENCO on Thursday’s night. Seven employees of GENCO including two private workers are struck in the fire terminal.

The fire accident occurred in the Srisailam power house belongs to Telangana state due to with shot circuit in the first unit of GENCO. Four panels were damaged badly in the fire accident. At the time of fire, flames are sparkled; a thin fume was scatted in the tunnel. The SDRF personnel are unable to enter in the tunnel for the rescue operations due to the thick fume in the tunnel.

At the time of fire accident there are 17 employees are working in the power house. Out of them eight employees were escaped and nine are struck in the tunnel. The employees who are in the tunnel are two assistant engineers and five GENCO employees and two other are private company employees.

They are D E Srinivas Goud, Sunder, Mohan Kumar, Sushma, Fathima, Venkat Rao, Etti Rambabu, Kiran, two employees of Amran Company are struck in the tunnel. Fire and SDRF personnels rushed to the spot and trying for rescue operations.

The Telangana electricity Minister Jagadish Reddy, Agriculture minister Niranjan Reddy reached the spot and observing the rescue operations. GENCO CMD Prabhakar Rao also reached the spot.
