Follow the Path of “Mahatma Gandhi’s” Non-Violence: Ram Nath Kovind

Hyderabad: The people of India celebrating “71st Republic Day” celebrations throughout the country, in all states and union terroritories on Sunday. India made a union of Sovereign republic of India, on January 26th, 1950.

The constitution of India came into force on that day. The president of India Ram Nath Kovind hoisted the National flag at Red Fort at New Delhi and conveyed message to the people of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, VP Venkaiah Naidu were attended the celebrations at Red Fort.

President Ram Nath Kovind in his republic day message urged the people, particularly the youth to remain non-violent when fighting for a cause and stressed on the need to “hold fast to constitutional methods” at achieving social and the economic objectives. His remarks come in the backdrop of protest against the new CAA, although he made no reference to them.
