Goddess Kanaka Durga as “Maha Durga and Mahishasura Mardhini” Alankaram

Vijayawada: The Kanaka Durga temple authority offering pooja’s to Goddess Kanaka Durga in two Alankaram’s on Saturday. The two Alankaram’s as “Maha Durga” as “Mahishasura Mardini” are more important days in the Navratri celebrations. Due to the fluctuation time of Nakshatras, the two Alankaram’s are performing today. The next day Sunday is celebrates as Dusheera as concluding the festival.

Goddess Kanaka Durga will appear as “Maha Durga” Alankaram upto 12:00pm on Saturday. And the rest of 12:00pm to late night will appear as “Mahishasura Mardhini” Alankaram The devotees and the Bhavani Deeksha devotees are visiting the temple on Saturday in a large number, to get the blessings of Goddess Durga Devi on the auspicious day of “Maha Asthami and Maharnavami”.

The temple authorities allowing devotees to visit the Goddess Kanaka Durga as “Maha Durga and Mahishasura Mardhini” from 05:00 am to 08:00 pm. The temple authorities allowed VIPs and VVIPs to offer prayers to the Goddess from 05:00 am to 07:00 am. Later from 07:00 am to 08:00 pm, they allowed all devotees who were booked their slot on online only.
