
Governor Lalji Tondon orders for ‘floor test’ to Kamal Nath’s Government on Monday
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tondon took a decision to put an end to the political crisis in the State, by taking decision to conduct the floor test of the Kamal Nath’s Government on Monday.
The Kamal Nath’s Government scheduled the budget-2020-21 session from Monday onwards. Governor Lalji Tondon ordered the Assembly Speaker N.P. Prajapati on Sunday to make arrangements for the floor test to Kamal Nath’s Government, after his address in the Assembly joint budget session. State Assembly Speaker N.P. Prajapati said he was concerned over health of members of the house due to threat of Corona virus infection and ordered measures such as screening of MLAs and others entering the house and wearing of masks by them.
The Law Minister P.C. Sharma said to the media persons here that the ensuing budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly should be suspended to avoid Corona virus infection. The issue was discussed at the cabinet meeting held here on Sunday morning under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Kamal Nath. The ruling Congress has 114 members, the rebel MLAs 22 submitted resignations to Speaker. The remaining Congress MLAs are 92. The BJP is having 107 in the Assembly, two BSP, one SP and four independents are representing in the house.
The Congress party issued Whip to all its MLAs to attend the budget session is a must. The parties MLAs who are stationed at Jaipur resort are bring back to Bhopal on Sunday. The rebel MLAs 22, who is the loyalist of Jyothiraditya Scindia, also returned from Bangaluru resorts. The BJP MLAs also returned back to the state from Delhi, where they were stayed at a camp.
