Birmingham: India bagged three Gold medals in wrestling at CWG-2022 games. With these three total medals tally is 26, nine Gold, eight Silver and nine Bronze.

India’s wrestler Bajrang Punia won first gold medal in the sport of wrestling at CWG-2022, against Canada’s Lachlan McNeil in the men’s 65kg freestyle wrestling final. Deepak Punia won third Gold medal in Wrestling by defeating Pakistan’s Muhammad Inam in the men’s 86kg category.

Indian Woman wrestler Sakshi Malik beat Canada’s Ana Gonzalez in the women’s 62kg category and won a second Gold medal in wrestling.
