Powerful earth quake in north India, POK and in Pakistan

New Delhi: A powerful earth quake occurred Tuesday’s evening in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The powerful earth quake magnitude 6.1 at rector scale jolted New Delhi, Haryana and Kashmir and as well as Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Islamabad in Pakistan.

In New Delhi roads and buildings shaked for few seconds and cracked roads. As per the U.S Geological survey the quake was happened near New Mirpur in POK which was severely affected by the quake. Speaking to the media persons POK Information Minister Mukhtar Minhaj said that 20 people died and nearly 300 were injured in Mirpur and surrounding areas. Pakistan MET department earth quake centre said the 5.8 magnitude earth quake was located near the mountainous city Jhelum in Punjab Provinces. The another Pakistan Minister Fawal Choudary said that the intensity of the earth quake was 7.1.
