ISRO’s Communication Satellite GSAT-30 launched

Bengaluru: The ISRO launched India’s Communication Satellite GSAT-30 into a Geo-synchronus transfer orbit in French Guiana on Friday. The satellite is aimed at providing high quality television, telecommunications and broadcasting services.

European Space Consortium Arianespace’s Ariana -5 injected it into the orbit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his twitter on Friday congratulated ISRO for the launch of its first satellite in the year 2020, saying it will help in enhancing DTH services, ATM and stock exchange connectivity.
