Jagan takes final decision on three capitals today

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy called a special Assembly session on January 20th for the discussion of de-centralization of Administration and development in the state.

He wanted to develop the state by de-centralization of the Administration with the relocation of the Capital Amaravathi into three capitals, and also the overall state development, by formatting the four regional development authorities in the state. The opposition leader Chandra Babu is opposing the decision of the Government and he demanding the entire administration is at one place, i.e. Amaravathi which he started.

The police arranged an elaborate security arrangement in and around the Amaravathi in three stages bandobast to avoid anti-social activities, in the wake of some political parties call to abduct the Assembly session meetings.

AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to discuss on the state capital as per the experts committees. The Assembly will discuss on the gentlemen agreement of Sri Bagh Pact, in 1953, Sri Krishna Commission in 2014 at the time of State Re-organization Act. Later the NDA Government’s Shiva Ram Krishnan Commission report, the YSRCP Government appointed committees Retd. G.N. Rao Committee and BCG Committee reports. The consolidation reports of all four committees were discussed by the high power committee comprising of Ministers and Officers constituted by the Government will be discussed.
