Nadda takes charge as 11th BJP National President

New Delhi: The former Union Minister, senior BJP leader J.P. Nadda takes charge as new 11th National President on Monday. On the eve of the occasion Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Nadda will give the organization new energy, hope and inspiration.

J.P. Nadda thanked the organization and the cadre and asserted that he will work day and night with all the party workers to take the party to new heights. Prime Minister Modi congratulating Nadda, he recalled however the BJP’s foundation was built on “Sangathan aur Sangharsh”.

J.P. Nadda elected as a 11th BJP’s National President unanimously. Prime Minister Narendra Modi used the occasion to enthuse the party cadre and the blamed the opposition for the wide spread anti-CAA protest. The opposition problem not that BJP was making any mistake but that people continue to bless it, said Modi. Ours is not some temporary party or political arrangement inspired by our ideals, we have been working for years and we will keep working in the years to come, he added.

After electing as BJP President Nadda said the BJP’s target will be to come into power in the states where the party has not yet registered electoral success. Nadda also claimed that BJP is not only different in its principle, but the results of those principles are different as well.

Other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi, J.P. Nadda and Amit Shah, party veteran leaders L.K. Advani and M.M. Joshi, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and Thawar Chand Gehlot, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were also present on the dias. The in-charge of the organization process Radha Mohan Singh was also present.
