Hyderabad: TRS candidate, Former Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha elected as MLC on Monday. She was elected in the quota of local bodies in Nizamabad District. She got 728votes, her BJP and Congress rivals lost their deposits.

BJP candidate got 56 votes and Congress candidate got 28votes. Kavitha is going to take oath as MLC on 14^th October in the legislative council.
