KCR constituted a 10 member cabinet sub – committee on Covid – 19 orphanages in state

Hyderabad: Telangana Government constituted a cabinet sub – committee on the orphanages, the loss of lives of the family head due to Covid – 19 pandemic.

Telangana cabinet headed by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao discussed on the issue of Covid – 19 orphanages and constituted a 10 membered committee headed by Women and Child Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod on Sunday.

The 10 members in the committee are T Harish Rao, P Sabita, T Srinivas Yadav, V Srinivasa Goud, Koppula Eeswar, G Kamalakar, A Indrakaran Reddy, G Jagadish Reddy, Errabilli Dayakar and KT Rama Rao.

The cabinet also directed the officials to get full details of the children who had been rendered orphans due to Covid – 19. The cabinet was discussing the incidence of Covid – 19 vis-a-vis other states and preparedness to face the challenge if there is a resurgence of the pandemic.

CM KCR directed the cabinet sub – committee to prepare a detailed action plan on the orphanages of the Covid – 19 and how to help them by providing rehabilitation, financial assistance and education etc.
