KCR may visit personal survey to see the lock down implementations

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandra Sekhar Rao wants to conduct surveys personally to gauge the mode of people on possible relaxations during the lock down before taking a final decision, said high level sources.

He will take a decision on May 5 ahead crucial cabinet meeting on lock down and relaxations. The Chief Minister has been calling up a cross section of people such as doctors, farmers, industrialists, businessmen, scientist, public representatives, traders and common man, on the ending of lock down on May 7th in the state. Though the Central Government has extended lock down- 3.0 in the country from May 4th to May 17th with relaxations to some sectors.

Former MP and Telangana State Planning Commission Vice- Chairman B. Vinod Kumar said that KCR has always consulted a lot of people before taking major decisions. He consulted many leaders and professors before taking political decisions during Telangana Statehood movement too, said Vinod. So now KCR is being sure taking feedback from people on issues such as standalone shops, RTC buses in green zones with 30 to 50 % occupancy, opening of wine shops, sectors to be given relaxations in green and orange zones, strategy for red zones and most importantly how long lock down should be further extended.
