New Delhi: Former Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav have been put under observation in the ICCU of the hospital’s Cardiothoracic and Neurosciences Centre at AIIMS, New Delhi. Lalu Prasad Yadav wife Rabri Devi, family members, friends and party colleague Bhola Yadav are waiting at the hospital.

He was undergoing treatment at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi for multiple ailments when his condition worsened. His doctors then decided to shift him to AIIMS, New Delhi. RIMS Director Dr Kameshwar Prasad earlier said that “Lalu Prasad was having trouble breathing for the last two days. On Friday, he was found to be having pneumonia. Considering his age, we decided to shift him to AIIMS, Delhi on the advice of doctors for better treatment”.

Rabri Devi, along with her children Tejashwi Yadav and Ms Bharti were with Lalu Prasad Yadav till around 12 am last night, sources said. Lalu had his meals in the night and this morning.
