Letter was not prepared in the SEC office: AP CID

Vijayawada: The AP CID Additional DG Sunil Kumar said that the SEC P.A Samba Murthy misguided the CID, on the facts of SEC letter to Union Home Ministry. The forensic lab report reveals the truth that the letter was not made in the SEC’s office, and it come from outside on April 18th at 9.23 am, he added.

The FSL report reveals that the letter was not drafted in the AP SEC office. It also said there was no transfer of the letter on Whatsapp from the then SEC Ramesh Kumar to Samba Murthy. The AP CID has filed a case against Murthy. The SEC Assistant Secretary gave a false statement to police and tampered with the hard ware, said CID. It found that a pendrive with a pre-loaded document was accessed on the laptop. CID is investigating as to where the letter could have been drafted, he said.
