New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at a cloth showroom in Lajpat Nagar Central Market area in South Delhi on Saturday morning. According to the fire official sources, a call about the blaze was received around 10.20 am, following which 16 fire engines were rushed to the spot.

Fire fighting operations are underway and the cause of the fire is not known yet, they said.

As per the official sources they received an alert from Lajpat Nagar market regarding a massive fire that broke out at Block-1, Central Market Lajpat Nagar.

The incident took place after the market reopened after over a month of lockdown.  Fire is in a showroom. Thirty fire brigades have been rushed to the spot. Details are awaited, said officials.
