Ministers sleep in the villages: along with the returned LG Polymers victims

Vishakhapatnam: The people evacuated villages are come for normalcy on Monday, the evacuated villagers are returned to their homes on Monday. On the assurance of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the precautionary measures and cleaning and sanitizing measures in the air and the environment was completed by the GVMC officials on Sunday.

On the directions Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy officials and the Ministers handed out the checks of eight deceased kins Rs. one crore compensation on Monday. The Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed on the situation of the gas leakage symptoms in the five villages, which are very near to the LG Polymers Pvt. Ltd Company. Y.S. Jagan directed the Ministers Kanna Babu, Avanthi Srinivas, Botsa Satyanarayana, and Dharmana Krishna Das to stay in the villages, to create faith in the gas leakage victims.

These four Ministers stayed on Monday night at each one village along with the evacuated people who returned to the villages. The villagers who left on May 7th with the fear of Styrene gas leak at LG Polymers were came back on Monday evening. The Ministers were interacted with the people on Tuesday morning and they toured in the village street by street and interacted with the people and asked about their facing troubles. The Government provided free meals to all villagers on Monday night; it will continue upto three to four days. Y.S. Jagan also directed the Ministers to disperse the financial assistance of Rs. 10K to each person in the villages.

Temporary health and veterinary clinics will be opened in the affected areas. Government will also explore the possibility and feasibility of relocation of hazardous industries from residential areas.
