Mizoram police filed an FIR against Assam CM Himanta and six senior Government officials

Guwahati: The Mizoram Police filed a case against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, six senior officials and 200 unidentified policemen on the violence occurred on the Assam -Mizoram interstate border on July 26th on Monday.

Mizoram police in their FIR stated that Assam CM and others are responsible for the July 26 violence on the Assam-Mizoram interstate border. The FIR filed officials are Assam IG Anurag Agarwal, DIG Devojyoti Mukherjee, Cachar District Magistrate Keerthi Jalli, and Cachar SP Vaibhav Chandrakant Nimbalkar, DFO Sunnydeo Choudhury and Dholai police station officer-in-charge Sahab Uddin.
