Modi constituted a three member committee on LG Polymers gas leakage incident

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed anguish on the gas leakage incident in LG Polymers at Vishakhapatnam on Thursday. He enquired about the incident with the AP State Government and said it is very painful. Modi conveyed condolences to the deceased family members in the gas leakage and he said it is unfortunate.

He convened a high level meeting on the leakage of gas with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Raj Nath Singh and other Secretaries on Thursday. The Union Home Minister also asked the State Government about the incident. He assured the State Government that they provide all the assistance to the State Government in the rescue operations. They will deploy the SDRF teams also, said Union Home Minister.

Prime Minster Narendra Modi constituted a three member high level committee to probe into the gas leak incident in LG Polymers at Vizag. The committee members Union Home Ministry Secretary, Cabinet Secretary and the Fertilizers and Chemicals Ministry Secretary, will look into the gas leakage incident.
