Modi: Lighten the Lamps, Diyas, Candles: Solidarity against the Covid-19

All of you ready with candles, lights & flash lights. Let us join hands with each other to drive away the darkness created by the Covid-19 in the lives of human beings.

A light is a symbol to drive away the darkness as per the Hindu mythology. Light is a symbol of “awareness, knowledge and dareness” etc.

Put off lights… for nine minutes at 09:00pm on Sunday. To fight the darkness of covid-19 through the lighting of lamps, candles and flash lights, said PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed the people of the country to extend solidarity by lighting candles, flash lights and cell phone flash lights.

AP CM Jagan also urged the people in a video message light the candles to fight against the corona as a solidarity as appeal by the Prime Minister. Be generous on the covid-19 patients. Don’t discriminate them. The covid-19 has no religion, race, caste and creed. It has no boundaries of the countries. It expanded its contagenious to 203 countries, it affected nearly 14 lakh people throughout the world, 68,000 people died so far.

Italy, Spain, France, Germany, UK and US are worstly effected. In India covid-19 infects 3085 members and killed 90 people.

The union government clarified on Saturday that lights in the houses only put off. Remaining Ac’s, Computers, Fans and other electrical appliances will not put off. And also said that hospitals, municipal offices & utensils, Gram Panchayat offices and street lights not put off.
