14 Delhi hospitals turned into Covid-19 exclusive centres

New Delhi: The Delhi government have been made 14 private hospitals in the city as  “full Covid-19” hospitals and asked the hospital management not to admit patients other than those infected with Covid – 19 .

Nineteen private hospitals have been directed to reserve at least 80 per cent of their intensive care unit (ICU) beds for Covid treatment. The State Government in an order said that eighty two private hospitals have been asked to keep 60 per cent of their ICU beds for Covid patients, according to the order. “Furthermore, 101 private hospitals are directed to reserve at least 60 per cent of their ward bed capacity for COVID-related treatment”.

The Covid – 19 hospitals list is as follows:

  1. Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, 2. Sarita Vihar; 3. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital; 4. Holy Family Hospital, Okhla; 5. Maharaja Agrasen, Punjabi Bagh; 6. Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh; 7. Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh; 8. Max Hospital, Saket; 9. Venkateswara Hospital, Dwarka; 10. Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute, Paschim Vihar; 11. Jaipur Golden Hospital, Rohini; 12. Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, Janakpuri; 13. Pushpavati Singhania Hospital, Saket; 14. Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, and Saroj Super Specialty Hospital.

The Delhi government said it took the decision to turn these hospitals into full-time Covid -19 treatment facilities after an unprecedented surge in Covid – 19 cases.
