Ali Garh: The Ali Garh Muslim University authorities announced that the institution will remain closed upto January 05^th, due to the clashes broke out between police and students protesting against the CAA near the campus gate.

        The university is closed from 15.12.2019 to 05.01.2020. According to the AMU Registrar Abdul Hameed this is been done due to disturbances created by some anti-social elements for last three days. All other offices will remain open as usal and the closer of the university is for the purpose of reading and examination only.

         The examinations will be conducted after 05^th January 2020 and the schedule for examination will be notified later, said registrar in a statement.
