Hyderabad: Multi linguistic Music director AR Rahman composed music for Bathukamma song will release on October 6^th on the occasion of the festival Bathukamma. Director Gautham Vasudev is the director of the short film Bathukamma.

AR Rehman composed the song Bathukamma completed its shooting at Bhoodan Pochampally for two days and the duration of the song is four minutes. Bathukamma song in Telugu literature and it is very popular folk song in Telangana. The women of Telangana will celebrate Bathukamma rituals for nine days from the beginning of the month Bhadrapada Amavasya and will end on ninth day of Dusshera.

It is traditional festival of Telangana people and where ever the people of Telangana staying across the world will celebrate the festival. Bathukamma short film is picturized in four other languages by director Gautham Vasudev Menon.
