
Center to implement NRC in West Bengal: Shah
Kolkata:
The
Union Government will implement the National Register of Citizen (NRC) in West
Bengal, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The infiltrators will be removed
from every inch of India and thrown out, he said.
Speaking at a Jana Jagarana Sabha at Netaji
Indoor Stadium at Kolkata on Tuesday. He blamed the West Bengal Chief Minister
Mamatha Benerjee for misleading people by lying about NRC. BJP will do NRC if
TMC opposes also. The Union Government will pass the Citizenship Amendment Bill
before implementing NRC, he said. He also assured all Hindu, Buddhist, Sikhs
and Jain refugees, they won’t have to leave the country, they will get Indian
Citizenship. All these refugees will
enjoy all the rights of as an Indian National, he said. Now NRC is currently
restricted to Assam only, but the BJP has been talking of implementing it
across the Country, he said.
