
Lok Sabha Speaker asked Azam Khan to apologies
New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Prakash Birla will ask the Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan to apologies for his sexiest remarks against BJP MP Rama Devi.
BJP MP Rama Devi was in the Speaker’s seat on Thursday when the discussion on Triple Talak bill in the Lower House, Azam Khan made the comments. BJP MP Rama Devi, Panel Speaker complained on the comments of Azam Khan to the Speaker Om Prakash Birla on Friday and demanded to suspend him from the Lok Sabha for entire five years. She also demanded the unconditional apology to the women on his sexiest comments in the house.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Prakash Birla convened all party meeting on Friday on the issue. All members in the Lok Sabha without the party lines criticized Khan’s controversial remarks and sought exemplary action against him. Some MPs had even demanded his suspension during zero hour. Textile Minister Smriti Irani said his remarks in Lok Sabha on Thursday were a “blot” on all Legislators including men. She attacked SP Chief Akilesh Yadav for supporting Mr. Khan in the house on Thursday. After row erupted it was repugnant that a leader stood in solidarity with a “lech”. The Union Law Minister Ravi Shanker Prasad said that he should either apologies or he should be suspended from the house. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prasad Joshi said that Speaker will ask Azam Khan to apologies over his comments made against Rama Devi unconditional in the house. If he does not do so the Speaker has been authorized to take action against him.
