Mamatha Targets Amit Shah Over CAA

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Benarjee expressed angry on Union Home Minister Amit Shah for reiterating that the CAA and NRC will be implemented.

        The TMC Supremo advised Amit Shah of dousing the fire instead of “setting the country on fire”. She said these words on Wednesday, after leading her protest march from Howrah to Esplanade for the third consecutive day in the city. If the “BJP amulet” would give the validity to live in the country, and said that the BJP will turn the country into a “Detention Center”.

          TMC Supremo Mamatha Benarjee said in the rally on Wednesday, I will make one request to the Union Home Minister that please remember as a Home Minister of the country, setting the country on fire is not your job. Dousing the fire in the country is your task. She said that it is her appeal to Amit Shah with folded hands. She also questioned that when the Home Minister of a country makes a statement in public that Aadhar Card would not be useful, then why were Rs. 6,000 crores spent after it?

        She also questioned that why was Aadhar Card linked with telephone, Bank accounts and Passports when it is invalid?
