Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Benarjee convened the statue of Vidya Sagar on Tuesday in Vidya Sagar College. She paid great tributes by garlanding Vidya Sagar statue in the presence of eminent political leaders, scholars and Bengali actors.            She re-built the statue of Vidya Sagar which was destroyed by the miscreants on May 14^th on the election campaign of BJP Chief Amit Shah’s road show. She unveiled the six feet height of Vidya Sagar statue in Vidya Sagar college in College street at Kolkata.
