Modi Decided to Setup a Pannel to Study the Feasibility on “One Nation One Election”

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened an all party meeting on one nation one election holding simultaneous elections to Lok Sabha and Assemblies in the country. Out of the party political parites invited to the meeting.the presidents of 21 parties attended the meeting while three sent their views in writing and 16 parties were not present.

        Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided to setup a panel to study the feasibility and suggestions on the simultaneous elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened the meeting and the parliament library on Wednesday.

        TMC Chief West Bengal Chief Minister Mamatha Benarjee, AAP Supremo Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, BSP Chief Mayavathi, SP Chief Akilesh Yadav, TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu, DMK Chief Stalin, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, JD(s) leader and Karnataka CM Kumara Swamy and RJD Chief Tejaswi Yadav were not attended the meeting.

      AP Chief Minister YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has supported the simultaneous holding of elections to assembly and parliament.

      TRS working president explained his party’s stand in the meeting.
