Hyderabad: I wanted to be private citizen, I will enjoy my privacy, said Telangana Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Tuesday. Speaking to media persons at Raj Bhavan he said that he will stay in Chennai and also he will jump into traditional attire and have idly and dosa.

He said these words of his future living, in a response of a question that KCR had offered him a position in a Telangana state or the Central Government may appoint him in a key post.

The outgoing Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan was blamed by all political parties at the time of state bifurcation. He said that he was not inclined towards any political parties during his tenure. He delivered his duties as per the constitution and not according to the will of political parties. He would not be joining in any political parties, he wants to settle as a common man. If the situation arises he would deliver the duties as a priest. He also questioned that “What’s wrong with being a Priest? Someone might have pleasure in consuming alcohol, someone playing sport. I take pleasure in serving the Almighty”, he said. He said 90% of his job had been “done by Almighty God,” and he had delivered only 10%.

Mr. Narasimhan said that the only time he got hurt was when certain sections of the media portrayed him as a priest going around temples. He said it was his personal life and he never neglected his duties as Governor. He always felt happy when visiting holy places like Tirumala, Yadadri and the Anjaneya temple at Khairtabad.
