National Film Awards: “Mahanati”, Keerti Suresh Best Actress, Vikcy Kaushal and Ayushmaan Khurana for Best Actor awards

New Delhi: The National Film Awards Jury head Rahul Rawail announced on Friday. The awards jury announced Bollywood films with Uri’s director Adityadhar’s awarded as best director and male lead Vicky Kaushal sharing the best actor price with Ayushmaan Khurana, whose films Andhadhun and Badhaiho were both rewarded.

            Uri also won the awards for background music and sound design, Andhadhun won the best hindi film and the screen play award for director-writer Sree Ram Raghavan. The best feature film award to Gujarathi film Hellaro, and also won a special Jury award for its cast.

              Sanjay Leela Bansal controversial Padamavat struck gold with three awards, Bansal Award Best Music Director, Best Choreography for song Ghoomar, best male play back singer for Arjit Singh. Badhaiho won the award for wholesome entertainment and best supporting actress for Surekha Sikri. Padman, Starring Akshay Kumar was named best film award on social issues.

              Tollywood actress Keerti Suresh won best actress award for her performance in Mahanati. The Feature film Mahanati won the best Telugu Film. Lyricist Swanand Kirkire was named best supporting actor for the Marati Film Chumbak.
