Red Alert Announcement in Mumbai due to Heavy Rains
Mumbai: Mumbai public walks of life disrupted due to heavy rains since two days. The Maharashtra government announced orange alert on Tuesday and announced secondly red alert on Wednesday in the city.
The government declared holidays to the schools, colleges and all educational institutions from Tuesday onwards. The government offices also closed. The Mumbai roads are water logged 3 to 4 feets and many low lying areas were submerged. The western railway authorities cancelled some trains and some sub-urban trains are running late 10 minutes and 15 minutes.
The long distance trains are rescheduled. The flights traffic disturbed at Chatrapati Shivaji terminal.

The met department forecasted the rain upto two days to the Mumbai. The heavy rains are going forecasted to the city. The civic authorities cautioned the public not to come out of the houses due to heavy rains, if it is necessity. The low lying areas in Chambur, Dadra and other two areas are badly affected to the rains.
