New Delhi: The Union Govt withdrawn the special protection group security to the Former Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh on Monday. He will continue to get Z-plus protection which would likely be provided by the CRPF.

     While the forces Ring Round team will protect Man Mohan Singh, the CRPF special protection will oversee his residence. VIP Security review and threat perception is a routine exercise conducted regularly by a team of experts across agencies. The SPG protection now only will provide to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, AICC President Sonia Gandhi, Former AICC President Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.
