New Delhi: Tejaswi Yadav could be the next Chief Minister of Bihar. Mahaghat Bandhan led by him a sweeping victory in the assembly elections. One indicating the RJD alliance is most likely to get a majority and two others giving it an edge in a close battle.

Some of the polls which gave breakup of seats by individual parties predicted BJP would finish second behind RJD and ahead of ally JD(U), thus becoming the senior partner in NDA in Bihar.

If the polls predicting Mahaghat Bhandan win prove accurate, it would be the first time since 2005 that the RJD would have a CM in the state and also the first time in India that a father, mother, son trio would have been CMs of the state.
