Jaipur: Nearly 90 Congress MLAs of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s loyalists ready to resign for their posts to prevent the Sachin Pilot for the top post of Rajasthan. Ashok Gehlot’s loyal MLAs met Assembly Speaker CP Joshi and had a discussion for their resignations.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is the frontrunner for the AICC Chief contest. The decision of the Congress High Command is one man one post throws Gehlot to resign as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Gehlot’s followers are not supporting the Sachin Pilot’s name as the proposed Chief Minister.

Sachin Pilot revolted against Gehlot in 2020 to remove as Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Sachin Pilot is having only 18 MLAs in his group, Gehlot is having 92 MLAs. AICC observers Mallikarjun Kharge and Ajay Maken met Ashok Gehlot on Sunday and discussed on this issue.

According to the sources Gehlot told them it is not in his hand. MLAs are opposing the candidature of Sachin Pilot. AICC High Command will decide the Chief Ministerial candidate after the discussion with two rival groups. Gehlot’s group MLAs demanding that to choose any one of the candidate from our group as CM Candidate.
