South Hampton: New Zealand won inaugural ICC World Test Championship -2021 final with eight wickets against India on Wednesday at South Hampton. India set target of 139 for New Zealand in 53 overs on last day or reserve day in the final match.

New Zealand scored 140/2 to win inaugural World Test Championship final match. ICC WTC is the first ICC trophy won by New Zealand.  New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor most-experienced batsmen of team scored unbeaten partnership of 96 to take New Zealand to the victory.

India scored 217 all out in first innings and 170 in second innings all out, where as New Zealand scored 249 all out in their first innings and 140/2 in the second innings to win ICC WTC – 2021. Kyle Jamieson was awarded as Player of the Match.
